Client/Personal Chef Agreement Together, we have completed a consultation in order to assess your needs and preferences. Special dietary restrictions and/or needs have been discussed, as well, in order to create menus and prepare meals to meet your needs. We have scheduled your first cooking date an don that day, I will shop for and bring to your kitchen the freshest ingredients as well as all necessary cooking equipment. At the conclusion of my cooking day, your food will be packaged, conveniently labeled (with the exception of the "boil-in-bag packaging), and a menu, defrosting and general heating instructions will be left for you. Your kitchen will be left clean and deliciously fragrant! While cooking, so that I may focus on creating the best meals possible, it is best that I have the kitchen to myself and remain uninterrupted. At no time are children or pets allowed in the kitchen while I'm working. Also, I cannot be responsible for answering the door or the phone while I am in your home. All of this allows me to concentrate on my work with no interruptions, in order to provide you with the best possible service. Fee: Pricing includes consultation, diet/menu research, menu planning and approval, heating guide preparation, grocery list preparation/shopping, cooking, packaging, and clean-up. The cost of groceries and containers are separate. There is a built-in pantry fee in my service charge that covers staple items such as spices, oils, vinegars, flour, sugar, etc. that I keep in stock. When purchasing groceries for your cook-date, I will always do my best to only buy the exact quantities of food needed; however, there may be some items that were not completely utilized during the cooking process (for example, small amounts of fruits, vegetables, fresh herbs and cheeses). Most clients do not want me leave the items because they would not use them and the items will spoil before I cook for them again.

Payment: Payment of chef fees and a grocery deposit are due in advance of each cooking date. The amount of the grocery deposit will be determined by the service that you select, which is specified below. Payment for the first cooking date is due upon signing of this agreement. For future dates, advance payment should be left on your cooking date unless other arrangements have been made. If there are remaining funds on grocery deposits, it will be credited to the next cooking session. Should a check be returned for insufficient funds, you will be responsible for all charges and fees levied by the bank. Cancellation Policy: If a cooking date is cancelled ten days or less prior to scheduled date, the Personal Chef fee is not refundable and is due in full. Client agrees to: Provide a clean kitchen and refrigerator on cooking day. This includes not leaving dirty dishes in the sink or on counter tops, and moving personal items away from cook and work areas. Should I have to clean the work area/dishes/sink/refrigerator upon arrival, there will be an additional charge of $25 for this time. Keep children and pets out of work area to ensure their safety. Leave any purchased, clean containers on counter or designated area for reuse. (if applicable) Provide entry to home or leave key/instructions for entry if not home on cooking day. Not change cooking day within 72 hours of scheduled day, except in the event of an emergency.

The client agreement is not a binding contract, but just states that the client has agreed to obtain personal chef service from Joyful Creations Personal Chef Service, LLC and has agreed to pay all fees related to the personal chef service, as well as provide a clean kitchen, space in the refrigerator and other requests stated in the agreement.
